Abstract: The displacement discontinuity and potential
discontinuity fundamental solutions (DDFS), which are of great importance in the analyses
of crack problems with Boundary Integral Equation Method (BIEM), are obtained for the case
that the material characteristic equation of piezoelectric medium has identical roots.
