Vibration Reliability Analysis of Boiler Economizers and Airheaters

Abstract: This paper presents a vibration reliability analysis method of boiler economizers and tubular airheaters. The method considers the frequencies of Karman vortex shedding and those of the standing accoustic waves as random variables. The reliability that boiler economizers or tubular airheaters are distanced from acoustic resonance is estimated by means of probabilistic design method. A reliability analysis example of the tubular airheater vibration is given.
