New Perturbation Method for Structural Dynamic Analysis

Abstract: This paper presents a new method for computing modal design sensitivities in structral dynamic modification. It develops the method proposed by Nelson£Û£±£Ý and Chen£Û£²£Ý, and which solves the problem that the calculation precision is lower when the change of the structure is higher. An example shows that the new method has high accuracy and can be easily implemented on computer.
