£Ábstract: An implicit method for analyzing the dynamic response of the connectable crack with friction in the crack surface is proposed in the paper. The method can not only be used to simulate the process of impact and the effect of dynamic and static friction in contactª²slide mode on the crack surface, but also to make the system matrix of dynamic contact problem symmetric. There needs no additional iteration in the iteration process of elastoª²plastic finite element method. The numerical results reveal that the method has enough accuracy and is stable. Keywords: crack, dynamic contact, implicit method, kinematics and static friction, elasto-plastic.
