
The Research of Stability Rule of
Nonlinear Bearing Rotor System

Abstract: At present, for nonlinear bearing
rotor system, people usually use the logarithmic decrement of its linear system as the
stability rule of system, this has made a great difference of theory and experiment
result. So this paper improves PCM method presented in £Û£±£Ý,
and analyzed the nonlinear stability rule of symmetry rigid rotor supported by infinite
length sliding bearing, and gives the nonlinear character of those phenomenon, so some
references are given to establish the new stability rule for nonlinear bearing rotor
system.
