Nonlinear Dynamic Response of Annular Plates on Two-Parameter Foundation

Abstract: Large deflection dynamic response of annular plates resting on a two-parameter elastic foundation is investigated in this paper by a new effective approach, which consists of a differential quadrature representation together with a single perturbation techneque in the spatial domain and a three-point recursive relatio nhip for the dynamic response in the time domain. The effect of foundation confi guration on the deflection response is also discussed and demonstrated in numerical examples.
