A High-Precision Plane Element for Analysis of Frame-Wall Structures

Abstract: A new plane rectangular element with rotational degree of freedom at each corner is conformed from twelve-node isoparametric element in this paper. The character and precision of the new element are the same as those of isoparametric element, and the rotational definition of the new element is the same as that of continuum mechanics.
