Abstract: In this paper, the differential
equations of motion of high speed elevator's mechanical systems are derived and a method
for solving these equations using KED analysis is proposed. In order to improve the
dynamic characteristics of elevators, a method of finding the optimal design variables of
a elevator's mechanical system by minimizing the maximum vibration response is also
developed. A practical example of the KED analysis and dynamic characteristics
optimization of a TKJ£Ô£±£°£°£°£¯£±.£µ-£Ê£Ø£Ã type
elevator has been presented. The results are satisfactory.
