Abstract: Fold and
cusp catastrophe models of symmetric and antisymmetric instability of the circle arc
double arcuated arch, under radial uniform load, are established. The models may
very likely discribe various properies of the two instable process, calculate instable
critical load, and give preliminary relation of bended route of the arch with the load.
