J-integral Estimation Formula for a Straight-Through Cracked Short Rod Tension Specimen

Abstract: Straight-through cracked short rod tension specimen is especially suitable for fracture toughness testing of core-based materials. Under the condition of loca lized or contained plasticity, and using Zahoor's method, the J-integral estimation formula for the proposed specimen is obtained.
