An Iteration Method for Solving the Dynamic Equations of Multibody System

Abstract: In this paper, an iteration method used for solving dynamic equations of multibo dy system is presented. According to the method, a multibody system is divided i nto one main subsystem and one or several subsystems. The coordinate conditions of displacement¡¢speed¡¢acceleration and force in division section relate the subs ystems, so the coupling degree, non linearity and stiffness of the dynamic equat ions are debated greatly. The convergence condition of iteration method is discu ssed in detail.
