Fatigue Damage of Laminated Composites and Two-stage Loading Life Prediction

Abstract: The evolution law of cumulative strain is studied during the fatigue damage of the fiber-reinforced laminated composites, and a nonlinear fatigue cumulative da mage rule, which based on the cumulative strain,
is suggested. The results of two-stress level tests show that the predicted values of fatigue life using this
method are in good agreement with the experimental data.
