Abstract: In this
paper, superparametric discontinuous boundary elements are developed to discretizeboundary
integral equations and applied to multiregion condensational boundary element analysis of
three-dimensional elastostatics. The triangular coordinate
transformation is employed to evaluate the related singular integrals. By virture of the
discontinuous elements, the freedom constraint is circumvente din multi-region boundary element analysis. A two-level
condensational proced ure is presented to improve efficiency of multiregion analysis. The
presented approach also provides a feasible way for parallelization of three-dimensional bo undary element analysis.
