Abstract: In this paper, an analysis to caliber edging was carried out by
full 3D rigid plastic FEM. As a result, a good agreement was
found between the calculated values of slab sections shape, separating force and rolling
torque and the experimental ones for material 2S-Al. The calculation precision was
improved.
