Abstract: Based on Karman nonlinear equations, post-buckling behavior of the clamped orthotropic shallow conical shell under
uniformly distributed pressure is studied. By means of the modified iteration method, the
approximate formulas of the second degree for load-deflection and critical load are
obtained, and using these fomulas the numerical results as l2=0.6 1.4 and 1.8 are calculated.
