Abstract: The thermal stress is a usual and general phenomenon, and it is a problem which encounters in the radiation-hardening technology and laser-weapon's effect, so then, the analysis of the thermal stress posseses very important practical value. On the analyzing for the unsteady thermal stress, many scholers always adopted the Laplece transformation. In this paper, on the basis of the property of the linear equation, we applied with direct way of superposition principle. In the processing of all the calulation, we felt deeply that the former is complex and the later is simple, so Laplace transformation is not a kind of optimum method. The two kinds of the results express different forms, in this paper we gave the transform formula of the both. Looking for the Love displacement function is notaunified standard method until now, in this paper we adviced on it a general andreference way. Becauce of the complication of the question, in the preface of this paper, we gave some simple hypothesis. At the end we gain four concluions.
Keywords: thermal stress, Bessel function, potential of the thermal displacement, Love displacement function.
