Comparing Between Two Numerical Procedure Methods  of Solving

Abstract: In this paper, comparing two classical numerical procedures to Reynold equationt hat when the equation is solved, the resulting negative pressures are set to zero to the algorithm developed by Elrod for lubrication films, similarity is reached between them. It may allow method setting negative pressures to zeros instead of Elrod algorithm for moderately to heavily loaded bearings, this can reduce calculating time greatly. At the same time, it points out that method setting negative pressures to zero does not fit Reynold boundary condition, but mass conservative.
