Abstract: According to the Priestley's evolutionary
spectrum theory, the evolutionary spectra and the time variant
cross correlation function of the response are analyzed firstly
for multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) systems subjected to non-stationary
random excitation. Secondly, the sysem dynamical reliability analysis of MDOF systems to
non-stationary random excitation is presented by the dynamical criterion of first-passage.
Finally, a new method to determine the upper and lower bounds of the system dynamical
reliability for MDOF is proposed.
