Study on the Stability of Satruated Liquid Film Falling
along a Vertical Plate

Abstract: The linearized stability of saturated liquid film flowing over a constant temperature, vertical plate is investigated by approximating the relation between the surface tension, the vapor reactive pressure and the wave motion of film. Effects of Renolds number, wave number, temperature difference between the plate and film, and the liquid property variation are discussed.
