The Compensation of Local Strain and an Algorithm for Its Parameter Identification in Electric Damping Control

Abstract:  This paper is a sequential one of the paper[1], where an idea, compensating the excited local strain on the controlled structure with a piezoelectric actuator and sensor pair, was presented in an active electric damping control scheme and the structural damping was promoted significantly. Now a more simple approach for compensating is presented. It's  acircuit, with an algorithm for its parameter identification. Experiments show that it indeed plays the same role as good as the replaced one.
