Abstract: By using the complex function approach, the general solution for the plane problem of an anisotropic solid with collinear rigid line inclusions has been given when the solid is subjected to uniform loads at infinity. Explicit expressions of the stress singularity coefficients are obtained for the cases of one or two rigid line inclusions. It is shown that the stress singularity coefficients depend only on the material properties and Abx, where Abx is the normal strain on the x axis direction at infinity.
