Unified Ultimate Solution of a Large Thin Plane With a Hole

Abstract:  In this paper, Yu Maohong's Unified Strength Theory is used to analyze the  ultimate load of a thin plane with a hole and a unified solution is obtained. The solutions based on Tresca, Mises. Twin Shear criterion and Mohr-Coulomb strength theory are special cases of the unified solution. The result can be used to fit the properties of different kinds of materials and is of importance in engineering and economy.
