Optimal Design of 3D Continuous Body Shape

Abstract:  In this paper, by means of a special tool named function recognizer, a two-phased control method is used to update the FEM mesh when the design variables are changed. Besides this, the sensitivity computing of element stiffness and object function are approached in terms of a new scheme. At last, two examples are presented to prove the feasibility of those methods.
