Combined Iteration Method of Load Identification for Complicated  Nonlinear Space Structure

Abstract:A combined iteration method for load identification is proposed to analyze the nonlinear dynamical system by joining finite element method with active control method. The finite element models of nonlinear dynamical systems are firstly simplified to construct the controlled plant. Then under the selected control law, the controller is designed to produce the system excitation, namely the identified load, and the validity of the load is then finally checked via the response of the nonlinear finite element model. The numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness of combined iteration method for a connected conical shell betting system.
