
Model and Control of Moving Cable-Mesh Reflector for Large Radio Telescope

Abstract: A couped dynamical cable-mesh reflector system for large radio telescope is investigated based
on the hybrid Principle of Virtual work and Hamilton principle for moving cable-mesh. Under Lyapunov stability condition, a sche me for adaptiving
estimation parameters is designed, then the features of multi -input multi-out (MIMO) and
uncertain disturbance motivate to develop a contro lalgorithm with robust stability
according to the H¡Þ optimal theory for the
cable-mesh reflector. The numerical simulation verifies
the validity and effectiv eness.
