Vibration Fatigue in Engineering Structures

Abstract: The concept and definition of strnctural vibration fatigue is clarified, and the vibration fatigue features distiguished from the traditional structural fatigue are described. It is suggested that the fatigue problems ought to be divided into static and dynamic types, and treated with the individual criterion to avoid the considerable errors in fatigue analyses and tests.
