Abstract: The dynamic behaviors of a crack in piezoelectric/piezomagnetic materials under harmonic elastic anti-plane exitation are investigated. With Fourier transform, the problem is evolved as dual integral equations where the unknown variable is taken as the jump of the displacements across the cract surface. To solve the dual integral equations, the jump is expanded in a series of Jacobi polynomials. The numerical examples are provided to show the effects of the crack length, wave velocity and the circular frequency of the incident wave on the stress intensity factors. It is revealed that the same order stress singularity in piezoelectric/piezomagnetic materials arises as a general elastic crack under anti-plane shearing.
