BEM Sub-region Parallel Algorithms For Large-scale Structural Analysis with Applications

Abstract: To enlarge the computing scale of boundary element multi-region analysis, the boundary element sub-region parallel algorithms are investigated, and each algorithm is employed for the individual situation. The block technique is introduced to solve the lack of core problem, and the pivot technique to improve the numerical robustness. Especially, the multi-region one processor algo rithm enables to flexibly solve the problem of load imbalance of non-uniform region division. The numericl tests and engineering application show the effectiv eness of the algorithms.
