Improved Sliding Contact Algorithm with 8 node Isoparameter Elements

Abstract: To possibly eliminate the errors in sliding contact problems, a new me thod called as Double Simulation contact Boundary is proposed, where two simu lation contact boundaries are constructed distinguishably, each of them has a single sort of nodes, and the nodes on Slave Boundary are allowed to contact the Master Boundary consisting of the same sort of nodes.
