
Relationship Between
Dimension and Diffusion in Pressure Driven Micro-Channel Flows

Abstract: The fluid diffusion in the pressure
driven micro-channel is simulated numerically. The results show that the effect of micro
dimension makes the fluid diffusion tend to heterogeneous. In the cases with different
dimensions, an expression of reflecting relationship among the flow cross section, flow
distance and the region of diffusion is aquired to evaluatel flexibly the region of diff
usion at arbitrary streamwise location in the micro-channels.
