Respone Spectrum Excitation Method for Space Truss Structure

Abstract: Neglected the coupled relation between
pseudo-static and dynamic response, a simplified multi-support response spectrum method is
presented, where the structure response is divided into two parts, pseudo static response
caused by inconsistent ground displacement, and structural dynamic response caused by
ground motion acceleration. The dynamic response coincide formally with classical response
spectrum, and the influence of multi-support is also considered. The parameter evaluation
in multi-support response spectrum is simplified in virtue of seismic motion power
spectrum density function and frequency response function. The results verify the
flexibility and computing accuracy of this method.
