Optimal Dynamic Topology Design of Continuum Structure with Random Parameters

Abstract: Considering the randomness of physical parameters of structural material, the mathematical models of structural dynamic characteristic topology optima l design on planar continuum structures are established, where structural shape topology information of the structure is taken as the design variable, minimum of the total structure weight as the objective function and the first several natural frequencies meeting reliability requirements as the constraints. Simultaneo usly evolutionary strategy and exist-null combination method are adopted in the optimization process, distribution function method is employed to display the reliability constraints in the structural models, so the constraints based on pro bability are converted into convention constraints formally. The numerical example of a square thin plate structure with four sides fixed is presented to illust rate the correctness and efficiency of the proposed models.
