Continuum Combined Structures With Prestress

Abstract: Considering the prestress of beam
structures, a set of stress sensitivity numbers for beam and plate structures are derived,
where the structural element stress level is combined with the relative difference
quotients, a set of optimum criteria for the combined topology optimization problem of
continuum struc tures with size and topology variables is established, and a kind of new
topology optimization procedure is formulated based on a bidirectional evolutionarys
tructural optimization idea. The examples are provided to confirm the validity and
effectiveness of the proposed method.
