Method for Static Topological Reanalysis

Abstract: Based on the perturbation of matrix
and Padé approximation, a new met hod for static displacement reanalysis of
structure is developed, where atransitional matrix is built and the exact solution is
obtained with the original factorization information. The perturbation vector of original
structure is processed by the Padé approximation to get the increasing perturbation
solution of the transitional structure, and to achieve an accurate result with iterative
method, furthermore, the combination of the results of these two steps arrives at the
approximation solution of modified structure. The numerical example indica tes that this
approach can be successfully and effectively applied to the static displacement reanalysis
of structure.
