Random Parameters Structures Based on General Reliability

Abstract: An optimization design method for the
random parameters structure based on general reliability is proposed, and the general
reliability expressions of the random parameters truss constrained by a kind of fuzzy
allowance under random loads are derived. The structural optimization design model is
established in such form that the cross-section areas are refered as the design variables,
the minimum of the frame weight as the objective with the general reliability rest ricts
of fuzzy stress and fuzzy displacement. A numerical example shows that the presented
general reliability expressions and method enable to transform a cons trained optimization
problem into a nonrestraint one, combined genetic algorithm the penalty function, it is
expected to obtain a satisfied result.
