On the Abrasion Performance of Elastic Coating Material

Abstract: In the paper, the method of making abrasion fatigue experiment and in elastic contact condition determing  abrasion fatigue parameter of material is de signed. And based on the results of contact mechanics analysis and abrasion test , the abrasion damage performance curve of elastic coating material (lgN^*-lg¦Ò curve) is established. Furthermore, in elastic contact condition, the formula relation between wear rate and material behavior and parameters of work condition is analysed. The results show the abrasion limit stress of elastic coating is about 4.0MPa, and the wear rate is about 2.6 index relation with impacting velocity.
