Study on the Distribution of Longitudinal Temperature Stress along Welded Continuous Rail on the Solid Ballast

Abstract: In this paper, a new model based on a track on the solid ballast for analyzing the longitudinal temperature stress distribution of welded continuous track is presented. According to the new model, the formula and the method for analyzing the longitudinal temperature stress distribution are given, some attentions on designing the track are discussed, and the relation to the conventional model is also established.
