Study on the Vibratory Power Flow Characteristics of Gear Transmission System

Abstract: In this paper, from the beginning of classical model of vibration noise transmission, which is source-path-receiver, we establish the model of shaft, bearing and box respectively and analyze the dynamics characteristics. Shaft is considered as spatial girder applied by general force and mobility matrix is derived using the method of transferring matrix. Lim model of bearing is elected and box is considered as a rigid body. Expression of power flow is derived applying component mobility method. We can clearly know about the effect of damping on power flow through the box and system, which can make it possible to study further on the overall dynamics of the gearbox-like structure.
