
An Accurate Method For Dynamic Analysis of Rotational Cylindrical Shells

Abstract: In this paper, an accurate method is used to analyze the vibration characteristics of the rotational cylindrical shells. The method is based on the exact partial differential equations describing the structure. So
it's unnecessary to discretize, either in structure or in result field. The key
step is to calculate the strains caused by centrifugal force. Together with the
process of the boundary condition, an eigenvalue problem corresponding with partial differential equations of variable coefficient is investigated.
