
Sensitivity Analysis of Nonlinear Modification on Linear System and Its Applications

Abstract: In the paper, a
sensitivity-oriented optimization technique for parameters of nonlinear elements in large structures is described, on the base
of the theory of nonlinear modification on linear systems. The vibration of an
anti-air gun is discussed. The vibrating speed and displacement at the gun-tube head are concerned and a shock absorber is proposed at that position. The parameters of the absorber are optimized. The results of which are proved to be satisfactory.
