
Numerical Simulations of Two Dimensional Unsteady Viscous Flow Around Oscillating Cascades

Abstract: Numerical simulations of two dimensional unsteady viscous flow around
oscillating cascades are carried out with the four-step Runge-Kutta explicit method and moving grid technique. In order to speed up the calculation, a method
called implicit residual smoothing with variable coefficient is applied. It is found that the approach used in this paper is effective, and the computed results
are in well agreement with the published data.
