
Construction and Application of Finite Spectral ENO Scheme

Abstract: In this paper a new finite spectral essentially
non-oscillatory (FSEN
O) scheme for treating discontinuities is constructed. Uniform high accuracey in
smooth regions of solutions and sharp capturing of shock waves are achieved by
using this method for shock tube problems. The interaction between turbulence and shock wave is simulated with high resolution. The FSENO scheme is efficient in
our numerical tests.
