Abstract: Using numerical method the nonlinear chracteristics of response for the single degree of freedom of parametric vibration system without damping under
single-frequency stiffness and outer excitations is studied in this paper. It is shown that some important characteristics of parametric vibration system including (1)
single-frequency excitation leads to multi-frequencies response; (2)
some special frequency distributed states are found and (3) the response of system shows
multi-frequencies resonant phenomenon.
