
Study on Precision of Calculation of Displacement for the Short and Deep Beam on
Transverse Load

Abstract: Basic solutions of displacement for short and deep beam is analyzed. The simplified methods by which high order distributed load on boundary can be transformed into node force are reviewed. The precise formula of node force fitted
second order distributed load is developed sing virtual work principle. The approach of improving the precision of calculation for the short and deep beam is discovered.
