Quantitative Calculation Method of Instantaneous Impact Stiffness of Rotor System

Abstract: The quantitative calculation formula of instantaneous impact stiffness of rotor system is obtained, by linearization of the colliding process of rotor system. The colliding stiffness by this formula is not only concerned with Young's modulus of rotor and stator, but also concerned with the radial speed of rotor. Therefore it illustrates the colliding process of rotor system reasonably. In this paper, the procedure of determination colliding stiffness of rotor system is discussed with example.
