
Nonlinear Analysis of Corrugated Diaphragm with Plane
Central Region Under Compound Load

Abstract: Using the simplified Reissner's equation of axisymmetric
shells of revolution, the nonlinear bending of a corrugated diaphragm with a plane central region under compound load has been investigated. The characteristic
curves of the diaphragm can be obtained by means of the method of integral equation. Numerical results of an example are given in the end of the paper.
