
Analysis of the Microcrack Toughened Under the Dynamic Loading

Abstract: On the basis of experimental study, the
micro-statistic mechanics was used to analyze the toughening mechanism of the microcrack. The toughening mechanism of the microcrack under dynamic loading was studied and made the simulation by the finite element method. The result reveals that under the dynamic loading, the toughening mechanism of the microcrack is the microcrack
nucleated very fast. In order to improve the toughening property, the critical
value of the toughening materials must be increased.
