Abstract: The experiment on gas-liquid flow in large-diameter horizontal pipe is carried out. It is found that characteristies of two-phase flow in large-diameter pipe differ from that in small-diameter pipe. Also, the slug void fraction model for the whole intermittent flow is developed and applicable to two-phase flow in large-diameter pipe. The values between calculation and experimentation are very close.
