Temperature Field in Current-Carrying Plate with More Than One Collinear Penetrated Cracks

Abstract: In this paper, the temperature field in an current-carrying plate with more than one collinear penetrated cracks under the action of transient pulse current was calculated by using complex function methods. considering to the plane with more than one collinear cracks, the boundary value problem was formed an d the analytical closed form solution of given. Singularity character of the cur rent around the crack tip was obtained, and the point heat source was formed, so was that the temperature field around crack tip was educed. It was the basis of defining the stress field around the crack tip.
