
Seismic Excitation Calculating on Base Isolated System
with Sliding Layer

Abstract: Based on theory of random vibration, random excitation characters are
studied under white nose excitation, and optimum coefficient of damping is discussed. The formula on calculating the maximum sliding displacement of structure
building with sliding base isolation is carried out. The definite displacement test on sliding base isolation has been put forward also. The result of analysis
shows that calculating results with the displacement formula coincide quite well
with results of test. It may provide secure and theoretical bases for device of structure.
